Adrift in the political desert is not for the timid. Sadly I suspect society will become even more fractured and any resolution will be “MERICAN” in scale. I hope I am wrong, but personally have elected to withdraw as we apparently experiment and I have personally observed a growing popularity of Socialism and large scale importation of tribalism. I note that historically “the frog in the pot” does not bode well for either the frog or those in line for soup…

My hubby shared a house in CA in 70s with an artist who loved to paint surf and beach scenes. He later transitioned to the Plein Air method. It was fascinating

The political homeless section really landed with me. When I was in it, I was stunned to meet people who weren't paying attention. There is a difference between knowledge and wisdom. Now I know the peace of not knowing the outrage of the day (or hour or minute). You are ascending.

I can’t believe that at 77 I have absolutely no place to go politically. It’s like mass delusion out there and when you think that it can’t get worse it does. With you 100% on this. A way more dangerous world than it ever was, and no one capable of functioning in it.
