Nice write Bryan. Captures a few of my thoughts as I stood speaking at my mother’s service this past Friday. She had an incredible 100 years, but the last few are more lonely — your observations apply, as her family peers and friends died well before her, leaving a space that was difficult to fill. And leaving us to wonder how we will cope with that, and how that informs our own lives.

At church this morning, the priest broke the news of the death of a fellow church-member.
You Mean Someone Went Home! Someone graduated from Basic Training! Someone now Finally REALLY GETS IT...UNDERSTANDS.
Yes for us sad, we miss this person.....for Them however.....A Different Story. Farther Up And Farther In!!!
I am content lest death come knocking on my door. That being said, I would like to see my grandkids enter adulthood and maybe even get married.
