As I have discussed here before, I am a man of habits, practices, and repetition. I am comfortable in the known and dependable. This is likely why I am the primary cook in our household, although now that we’re down to just the two of us, the competition is not heated.
That's the great thing about sports. They remind us that the impossible can sometimes happen. As long as the victor is decided by the players and coaches, they deserved to win.
Enjoyable read but my comment goes to the essential: Hoo's basketball. I like your bold prediction, and share your vision that the near death experience may propel them to success. I find the idea of a rematch with Purdue particularly compelling. I hope you're right, and if not, it's a fun speculation.
Darn. No more Wahoo Pool. But as much as I'm disappointed, I'm with you, too. I'm not feeling it this year. Ah well. We had fun with it while it lasted. I've seen those blueish sweet potatoes but have never tried them. Now I'm going to. Thanks for the pro tip.
Thanks for the Chicken Roast recipe- sounds delicious. No thanks for the bracket, my wolverines played terribly fired their coach and I have turned to hockey for my spring diversion.
I'm a fan of Jeffrey Wright as well. If you haven't seen it, I'd recommend the movie "Source Code" (2011) where he plays one of the main characters. Thought the movie was really well done with an intriguing concept plus it has a primary military angle to it. Fun fact: it was directed by Duncan Jones, who is David Bowie's son, and also the director of another excellent movie "Moon" (2009), which is well worth a watch.

Recommend taking a look at Marcella Hazan's recipe Chicken with Two Lemons. Italian simplicity at its best.
No pool this year? :D

Roast chicken in a Dutch oven? Check
American Fiction? Double check.
McNeese beating Gonzaga? Doubtful
