We have interests in all 3 regions; it's also not 1950 anymore. The Red Army is not going to send 120 divisions through the Fulda Gap. So giving Ukraine obsolescent gear and some ammo isn't out of line. But maintaining the Army budget at the current rate for Europe? NO. Middle East and Southeast Asia can be maintained with Navy, Marines, Air/Space Force, and Coast Guard. (Let's be honest, the Coast Guard is probably the most important service against China right now.) We might be able to theoretically do all some want to do; as a practical matter, Mr. Aday was right. 2 out of 3 ain't bad.
